About Lynn and her Herbal Clinic

Lynn in her younger years worked in Nature Conservation, her love of nature and the environment, lead her to have a interest and passion for natural healing and medicines, so later in her career she trained to become a Western Medical Herbalist and holistic therapist. Lynn has since 2002 run her own successful herbal and holistic treatments practice from her home in Southport. Lynn  undertook a 3yr Batchelor of science degree (BSc) with honours in herbal medicine and is a Member of the National Institute of Medical Herbalist .To become a Member of the Institute of Medical Herbalists a herbalist has to be trained to the highest of standards, and only then can carry this title. Lynn  also holds qualifications in Aromatherapy, Body Massage, Indian Head Massage, Reflexology and Reiki.

Attending Lynn's herbal clinic is a relaxing one to one experience, where by a detailed consultation is taken, lasting approximately 1hr, during which time your problem or complaint will be discussed. A detailed past medical history, diet and lifestyle will also be discussed so that an holistic approach can be taken when developing your treatment plan and medicine . you will then be prescribed a combination of herbs specially formulated for your needs. Follow up appointments start at fortnightly intervals and last 20 - 30 mins . After a couple of fortnightly visits monthly visits are usual if required. 

Lynn also takes students for their clinical training and provides a student clinic that 

you can come and attend presently these consultations are via zoom and more details can be found on the Treatments page. 

Who Can Take Herbal Medicine

Herbal medicine is the art of preparing plants as medicine and is the oldest form of medicine known. All herbs used are carefully sourced and are organic where possible. Herbal medicine is a safe effective alternative to mainstream medicine.
